Renault Master
Security Cage

The Master's large load bay makes it a workhorse for builders and plumbing firms — but that same capacity attracts thieves. Our mid cage bolts securely to the Master's existing anchor points without a single permanent modification.

Why the Mid Cage for the Renault Master?

The Renault Master shares its underpinnings with the Vauxhall Movano — they're essentially the same van underneath. The deep load bay, particularly on the L3 variant, demands the mid cage's 2,500mm length to provide proper coverage from the bulkhead back. A compact cage would leave too much of the bay unprotected.

Builders and plumbing firms who use a Master as their daily work van are typically carrying expensive power tools, pipe stock, and specialist equipment that would cost thousands to replace. The mid cage creates a secure, locked zone that slows thieves down significantly and in most cases causes them to move on entirely.

The cage bolts to the Master's existing factory lashing points — no holes drilled in the floor, no modifications to the van's structure, and no impact on any residual value or warranty.

Installation

Fitted to Your Renault Master in Under 30 Minutes

The Master's tall, wide load bay makes it one of the easier large vans to work in during installation. Two fitters make short work of the mid cage.

01

Open the Master's Rear Doors Fully

Open the Renault Master's twin rear doors to their fullest extent. The Master has a wide rear aperture that accommodates the mid cage panels without any difficulty. The tall load bay gives good working room throughout.

02

Slide the Mid Cage Panels Into the Load Bay

Cage panels are fed through the rear opening and assembled inside the Master. Position the cage against the bulkhead. The mid cage's 2,500mm depth is well-matched to the Master L2 and L3 bay dimensions.

03

Bolt to the Master's Factory Lashing Points

The Renault Master has factory floor lashing rings that are used for the cage fixing. No new holes are required — the cage bolts directly to these existing points, leaving the floor completely unmarked and unmodified.

04

Secure the Sliding Door Panel

The side panel is fitted into the Master's sliding door frame. It closes off side access to the cage interior and is secured without any drilling to the door structure. A clean, tool-free fit that completes the cage's security envelope.

05

Ready to Go — Under 30 Minutes

All fixings tightened, lock mechanism confirmed, side panel secure. The Master is back on the road with full tool protection in place. No marks, no modifications, and a cage that can be removed and transferred when you change vans.
