The Boxer's large load bay is a serious workhorse. Our mid cage is designed to make the most of that space — securing the bulkhead zone against theft without drilling, cutting, or leaving any permanent trace on the van.
The Peugeot Boxer shares its core architecture with the Fiat Ducato and Citroën Relay — one of the most widely used large van platforms in Europe. The load bay is substantial, and the mid cage's 2,500mm length provides the depth of coverage that a large van demands. A compact cage simply wouldn't create a meaningful security barrier in the Boxer's bay.
Tradespeople and small businesses using the Boxer as their primary work van typically have a significant investment in tools on board. The mid cage creates a secure locked zone at the bulkhead end — the area closest to the cab and farthest from the rear doors where access is most difficult for a thief to control.
Because the cage uses only the Boxer's factory anchor points, there's no impact on the van's structure, floor integrity, or resale value. It unbolts cleanly if you need the full bay for an oversized load.
The Boxer's large rear aperture and accessible floor points make for a comfortable two-person installation. The mid cage goes in quickly when both fitters work together.
Open the Peugeot Boxer's twin rear doors to their maximum extent. The Boxer's wide, tall rear opening gives excellent access for sliding the mid cage panels straight in without any obstruction.
Cage sections are slid in through the rear and assembled inside the Boxer's load bay. Two fitters make this straightforward — one guides from outside while the other positions panels against the bulkhead. The Boxer's flat load floor makes alignment easy.
The Boxer has factory floor lashing rings that accept the cage bolts directly. No holes are drilled anywhere. The floor is left completely unmodified — the cage is fully removable at any time without leaving any trace.
The side panel is secured into the Boxer's sliding door frame. It clips in without drilling and seals off side-door access to the secured zone. A quick fit that completes the cage's coverage on all accessible sides.
All fixings torqued, cage lock tested, side panel confirmed. The Boxer is ready for work. Under 30 minutes total. Nothing to see from outside — the van looks completely standard.
